CONGO

So uncle Peter,  Kateregga Derik and Bashir Agaba are going to be ministering in the Congo for this next week. We are so excited they were finally able to go on this trip, Bashir and Kateregga are going on this trip through our Ugandan church, Streams of Life, they both want to be pastors when they grow up (Bashir wants to be a pastor among other things, lol) and they are very sweet and responsible kids. When we  first talked with them about the posibility of going on this trip they were so excited yet humble admitting that if God didnt allow them go (because of them faling to get a passport or visa, conflict in the Congo, etc-) that they would know it was because He was protecting them, but that if they DO get to go, it is going to be a great opportunity to be a light for Him. We are SO proud of the both of them and want to keep looking forward to taking our children on missions trips in the years to come.

On a side night, Peter, the oldest boy in our home was able to help us out a lot in ministry this last year. We had a dental team come from Providence this last year and Peter (who wants to be a doctor) was able to translate and help them for their entire one week trip, he did great! Then when he got out of school for his holiday he was able to come and be in charge of our medical in our street childrens programs (giving first aid to the many kids that had cuts and wounds that needed cleaning and dressing). He would come in dress pants, a white, long-sleeved collared shirt and tie with a stethascope around his neck, all of the street kids now call him doctor!

We are so proud of our boys and just know that they are going to be the future world changers of Uganda!
