I am sorry that I haven't updated
in so long! Things have been so busy here in the States, good but busy! David
and I still have a little more time in the US but we are so ready to get back
to Uganda. Looking back we have seen how God has used our time in the US to
give us a lot of direction as to how we are going to lead our ministry in the
coming year. When in Uganda there is so much going on all the time that it is
just so difficult to be able to plan ahead, this time in the US, this year and
last year has been instrumental in giving us direction and plans for the year
ahead.
We are so excited to begin our
discipleship home next month. Our oldest boys who are now 18 will move into it
and become young men as they work full-time, are mentored and receive financial
training, save money and go into a vocation program so that when they launch out on their
own (they have a maximum of 2 years in this program) they can fly! We are so proud
of our boys. Thank you so very much Providence for providing for that home!
Those boys are currently working hard to build the actual building and
being trained how to build. They are learning how to lay bricks, mix concrete
and put on roofs! There is a lot of building going on in Uganda right now so
knowing how to build can come in very handy! I have attached some photos of them below building:
